Alice Baldwin is a pianist and self-taught composer, photographer and videographer, living in Berlin, Germany.
She first touched a piano key at the age of five and continued not doing her piano lesson homework for the next twelve years. Soon she found out that creating music helps to cope with challenging situations in life and started to weave musical pieces out of her personal experiences. Her instrumental songs are mainly for solo piano, sometimes accompanied by synth or strings.
As an advocate of radical softness, she supports the idea that "unapologetically sharing your emotions is a political move and a way to combat the societal idea that feelings are a sign of weakness" (Lora Mathis).
